Cages:
The first of the grow out site cages have arrived from Akva, Norway. These are steel cages that are 20m by 20m wide and the internal fish net will be 15m deep. These are assembled on site by the Highlands Trout team. A forklift is required due to the size of the units. Once they are assembled they are towed out to the grow out site location on the water with the boat and are then moored.

Processing centre:
The construction of the fish processing plant is going well and the brick work is out of the foundation stage. The plant will be complete by June and the first fish harvested towards the end of the year. In this same area, the work shop and the feed store is now complete.
